Careers Day 2015

Graduates who have forged careers in the media are returning to Leeds to inspire and mentor the next generation of Leeds students this month.

Alumni with a wide range of distinguished jobs in news, music, sport, film, children’s TV, light entertainment, PR and digital production will join careers panels and be on hand at a special networking session on Wednesday 28 January.

Guests  from the BBC, ITV, Bauer Media, The Financial Times, Reuters, Uber, Oxfam, the Vodaphone big top 40 radio chart and many other media companies will give students advice.

This is the fourth year that the School has run its highly successful Careers day. This time there is also a special panel in which teaching, charity, museum and publishing careers are explored and a panel aimed at helping MA students consider a range of job opportunities.

Current undergraduates will have the opportunity to hear speakers talk about how to get a job at the careers panels from 1pm and can then talk on an individual basis to the experts from 5-7pm.
