Over the last 20 years Mark Robinson has made TV shows with (and about) some of the biggest names in pop culture history – from The Beatles to Ricky Gervais, Elvis Presley to Elton John. This is how it all began – with a pair of binoculars on a council estate not far from Leeds/Bradford Airport.
Mark Robinson founded Shiver at Kirkstall Road in Leeds ten years ago. Since then it has gone on to become one of the biggest providers of factual and factual entertainment television in Britain, with offices in Leeds, London and Salford. Its multi-award winning output includes shows like Come Dine With Me, Paul O’Grady: For The Love of Dogs and the UK’s most watched music documentary series, The Nation’s Favourite. Since the late Nineties Mark has devised, produced and executive produced around 200 TV series and specials for ITV, the BBC, Channel Four, Channel 5 Sky and Gold.
