Award winning Guardian Investigative journalist, Eric Allinson

Eric Allison is an investigative journalist whose work has uncovered numerous cases of corruption at the heart of the criminal justice system. As the Guardian’s Prisons Correspondent he has received widespread acclaim and in 2013 he won the prestigious Amnesty International Media Award for exposing the cover up of abuse within youth detention centers.

Join Eric at the Speakman Lecture Theatre in the Clothworkers’ Central Building to learn about his fascinating career working in the media and criminal justice sectors. The talk will be followed by a Q&A during which students will have a chance to put their questions to Eric.
